GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays
The holidays can be difficult when you've lost a loved one. We invite you to join us for GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays. This will take place on Saturday, November 16th from 6:30–8:30 PM in the Care Conference Room. Registration is open now through November 16th, and the event is free of charge. This gathering offers more than just practical tips—it’s a space to find comfort, connection, and understanding among others who know what it’s like to walk through this season in grief. You don’t have to face the holidays alone.
Christmas Community Create Night
Save the date for a special Christmas Community Create Night on Wednesday, November 19th from 6:00–7:00 PMin Lakeview Hall! Each month, we gather to blend creativity with Scripture, allowing space to slow down, share conversation, and create together. This month, we’ll craft our own Advent wreaths as we prepare our hearts for the coming season of hope and anticipation.
All families are warmly welcome—including those with children of all abilities and special needs.

Deck the Halls

Advent Candle Lighting
Be part of a cherished Bay Presbyterian tradition through our Sunday service Advent Candle Lighting on November 30th, December 7th, 14th, or 21st at 9 AM and 11 AM in the Sanctuary. Families, couples, community groups, classes, and Bible study tables are all invited to participate in this meaningful and simple Advent moment—no memorization required. Building Hope in the City Christmas Store
Are you, your family, or your community group looking for a meaningful way to serve this Advent season? Our Mission Partner, Building Hope in the City, invites you to take part in their Annual Christmas Store, hosted on December 12th & 13th at Bridge City Church!
There are a variety of ways to get involved—help with setup, donations, or event-day operations—starting as early as December 1st. Bay Pres will also be collecting unwrapped gifts for the store; simply place your contribution on the rack in the Connector Hallway by December 1st. You can select your own gift or visit the Wish List on the virtual Christmas Store. Share hope through the Christmas Store—pick a volunteer shift between Dec 1st and 13th and register to help make this season bright!
Merry Melody: A Legacy Christmas Event
Join us for a warm holiday banquet and choral performance on Saturday, December 13th from 5–7 PM in Auburn Hall. Enjoy a festive evening featuring dinner catered by A Luncheon Time and a special performance by the Bay High Choraleers. This event is open to legacy adults and friends of Bay Pres—a wonderful opportunity to gather in community and celebrate the joy of the season. Seating is limited, so register today! Annual Tree Lighting
A weary world rejoices! Join us for the Bay Pres Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5th from 6–7 PM on the church campus. Gather your family, neighbors, and friends for an evening filled with carols, cocoa, ornaments, and a joyful countdown as we light the tree and welcome the Christmas season together. This event is free and open to all—just come join the holiday fun!
In this season of giving, we’re also inviting you to help fill our Bay Food Pantry shelves. Your contribution makes a meaningful difference for neighbors facing food insecurity. We gladly accept unexpired, non-perishable food items in original packaging, as well as unopened household cleaning and personal hygiene products. Thank you for your generosity and holiday spirit!

Christmas Eve: A Weary World Rejoices
Join us on Wednesday, December 24th as we celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth with services designed for everyone. Experience how Jesus meets our weariness with joy through meaningful worship and community.
2 PM Sensory-Friendly Service – Lights up, sound down, and a calm, welcoming space for all.
4 PM Children & Family Service – A joyful, “no-shushing” experience with kid-familiar music and a live Kids Church Online Christmas episode by our Children’s Ministry.
6 PM & 8 PM Adult Services – Beautiful, reflective worship gatherings for adults and families alike.
Both the 2 PM and 4 PM services are 45 minutes long. Auburn Hall and restrooms are wheelchair accessible, and everyone is welcome to join in the celebration. Pick your service and invite a friend—we can’t wait to rejoice with you this Christmas Eve!
