Church Officers
ELDERS
Elders serve on Session along with the Lead Pastor. Session is responsible for our mission and is the governing body of Bay Presbyterian Church. Elders also periodically assist with Baptisms and Communion in worship services. They are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term.
Class of 2025 - Laura Horner, Jesse Hudson, Eric Peterson, Kyle Wilkinson.
Class of 2026 - Mary Goodwin, Scott Graham, Ray Kinat, Carmen Pescatrice, Robyn Tenerowicz.
Class of 2027 - Nathan Chafee, Abigail DuCharme, Michael Haag.
DEACONS
Deacons serve in a crucial servant role here at Bay Pres. The office of Deacon is an ordained leadership position and a major ministry commitment with individuals serving a three-year term. BPC Deacons strive to surround individual(s) with the love of Christ through our three ministry teams: (1) Congregational Care Ministry; (2) Financial Care Ministry; and (3) Grief and Bereavement Ministry. In addition, Deacons serve behind the scenes at various BPC events throughout the year, provide monthly communion set up, and provide delivery of lilies at Easter and poinsettias during Advent season. BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Bay Presbyterian Church’s Board of Directors consists of six church members who have been given general supervision and charge of the operation, property, affairs, and finances of our church. They are elected by the congregation and serve a three year term.
Class of 2025 - Scott Dwyer, Jeff Foster.
Class of 2026 - Therese Koomar, Tom Bechtel.
Class of 2027 - Paul Lang, Jeff Windahl.
