56 CULTURE is a special program dedicated to our 5th and 6th grade students. We have prayerfully created a place for students to experience the Bible in a deeper way. We do this through facilitating a learning environment where students can grow together in small groups.
We believe that parents are the primary faith trainers of their children, and so our student culture staff wants to partner with you through this key stage of your student's life. To help and promote this, we go through specific books of the Bible (we're going through The Gospel of John this semester) and we ask that parents read with their student the assigned chapter of the book prior to coming each week (you can find this assignment sheet in the Fallout, or you can contact Morgan Smith or Maria Ielapi to receive it via email).
Students go to worship with their parents to begin the service and after that they will be dismissed to the Fallout (around 11:15 or 11:20). The Fallout is located on the lower floor on the west side of the church.
We hope to see your student there!
STUDENT CULTURE was created for students of all different ages, from Middle School to High School, to come together and grow in godly relationships with each other, with adult leaders, and first and foremost with Jesus.
As the students come in, we intentionally created an environment where they can get to know each other, where older students can speak into the lives of younger students, and be an example. This is an environment where our adult volunteer leaders can have meaningful conversations with each students, as they get to know the students, and hopefully from there start a mentoring relationship.
We created a time to play games, where students can feel involved and comfortable. After that we have a really special time of live worship, for the students and everyone in that room to re-focus on God and get ready to receive His word. We have a sermon for the students and then they break up into small groups led by our adult leaders. We have this small group time to make sure that each age group has time to relate to students their own age, and go a little deeper together on what was preached.
Our student culture staff believes that God is doing something new and fresh in our church, and we are trusting that this will be a time of blessing and a foundational time for our student's spiritual walk with Jesus.
Hope to see you there!
Student Culture is on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
