• Do I have to be a member at Bay Presbyterian Church to receive assistance?

    No. But you do need to have proof of residence in Bay Village.

  • Am I eligible?

    If you are a Bay Village resident (44140) and meet the income requirements established by the State of Ohio Job and Family Services, you are eligible to receive assistance through the Bay Food Pantry.  

  • I'm eligible, what information do you need?

    Your contact information and birthdate will be entered into the PantryTrak system, a database used to manage guest visits. The name and age of any additional household members receiving assistance will also be entered. You will be required to sign a client form that includes eligibility criteria and to provide proof of residency to certify that your household lives in the area served by this agency: Bay Village, 44140. Documentation for proof of income is not a requirement. 

  • How do I register?

    If you meet the criteria for assistance listed above: Bring your valid Photo Identification, that includes your Bay Village address and register on distribution day.

  • What are the approved forms of identification?

    Bring your valid government-issued photo identification (e.g., driver's license). If your photo ID does not have your Bay Village address, please bring a current mortgage statement, rental agreement, or utility bill with your name and Bay Village address.

  • When do you distribute?

     We offer two distribution times per month, please refer to the Bay Food Pantry Calendar for exact dates.


    Note: Our Thursday pickup option is from 5:00pm-7:00pm on scheduled dates. Our Friday shopping option is from 9:00am-11:00am on scheduled dates.

  • Can I come both days?

    No. Although we offer two distribution options, service is available once per month per individual or family on Thursday evening or Friday morning.

  • I'm eligible, where should I go when I arrive?

    Park in our Main Parking lot, enter from Columbia Road. Enter through the door marked MAIN ENTRANCE, and go left towards AUBURN HALL. We are easy to find and will be happy to help you register!

  • Will I register every time I come?

    Registration is yearly. Once you are in our system, you just need to bring your photo id each following month to check-in. Eligibility will be reestablished on an annual basis.

  • How Can I Make a Donation to the Bay Food Pantry?

    Donations to the Bay Food Pantry are greatly appreciated! We accept unexpired, non-perishable, pantry items sealed in their original packaging. We also accept unopened household cleaning products, paper goods, and unopened personal hygiene products. Listed below you will find our Suggested Items List.


    Donations can be left in the grocery cart inside the door marked Main Entrance. If the Church is locked or the cart is full, donations can be left in the large bin marked Bay Food Pantry, located outside the Main Entrance. If you would like to make a financial contribution to the Bay Food Pantry, please make your check payable to Bay Presbyterian Church and write Bay Food Pantry in the memo line. Checks should be mailed to: Bay Presbyterian Church, 25415 Lake Road, Bay Village OH 44140

     

    Bay Food Pantry Suggested Items

    Food Items: coffee/tea/hot cocoa, granola bars/protein bars, cereal, boxed stuffing/instant potatoes/rice/noodles, boxed dinner mixes, soup, canned spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, crackers/cookies


    Personal Hygiene items: deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand soap, shave cream, lotion


    Household Cleaners: laundry detergent, dish soap, Clorox/Lysol wipes

    Paper Goods: toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, tissues
