Welcome to Bay Presbyterian Church!
Our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.
Worship
We meet for worship each Sunday at 8:00 (traditional) in the Sanctuary, 9:30 (blended: traditional/contemporary) in the Sanctuary and 9:30 (contemporary) in Auburn Hall, and 11:15 (contemporary) in the Sanctuary at 25415 Lake Road in Bay Village, Ohio.
But Bay Pres is about much more than worship on Sundays.
Families and Children
From our earliest days, Bay Pres has been committed to helping families to be the primary faith trainers for children. Our goal is to equip parents as moms and dads who can lead their children in their faith development, and to provide resources and training to make that possible. You’ll find that your kids love being a part of the many programs we offer for children and teens as well.
Mission
96% of the church’s mission happens outside the walls of the church. Jesus called all Christians to “Go!” so we expect everyone who is a part of Bay Pres to be involved in serving or some form of ministry outside the church—in our local community, in greater Cleveland, or around the world.
Partnership
Much of our mission is carried on in partnerships with other churches and organizations, as a sign of the unity of the Church and in order to accomplish more than we can accomplish alone.
Entrepreneurship
We encourage our people to be pioneers—to start new things and fulfill our mission in creative ways. Our staff exists to resource and support our members as they carry out the church’s mission, given by Christ.
God’s Story
We take the Bible seriously as our source of truth for both faith and practice. Within it, we find the story of how God created the world, how mankind fell into sin, how Jesus Christ came to redeem mankind, how God uses us today to redeem the world, and how Christ will return to restore the world. That story gives us purpose and motivation in our mission.
In short, we are a congregation of people “Centered on Christ and sent into the world.”
