St. Malachi Center's Vision is to be a vibrant, safe
harbor where individuals and families are transformed
through spiritual, educational, and social programs.
St. Malachi Center experiences will provide clients
with the necessary skills to reach their full potential.
We will achieve this success through the purposeful
exchange of gifts among diverse clients, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Donations of paper plates and cups plus plastic utensils can be left in the bin under
the main staircase at BPC for St. Malachi Breakfast Outreach. Also, drop off socks,
gloves, toiletries and coats in appropriate bins.

7 Volunteer at The Bridge Avenue School
The Bridge Avenue School (TBAS) is a small private Christian middle school
on the near West Side of Cleveland, Ohio that serves previously unsuccessful
students. The school focuses on reading, math, and science foundation building
for students who have struggled in these areas. TBAS thrives on one-to-one tutoring.
Students work daily with dedicated volunteer tutors who invest in their lives by
providng reading and math practice and homework help. You can help!
Find out more about how you can help by contacting Dan McElwain or
216-651-9235. Click here to help with school lunches.
8 Do You like to Quilt?
Join the volunteers at Bay Presbyterian Church and help create baby quilts. Making
baby quilts is a direct way to express concern and care for the growing population
of at-risk children. You can add immeasurably to the lives of these at-risk children
by participating in this national network of volunteers dedicated to providing a baby
quilt to each child under the age of six who is born alcohol-or drug-affected or
infected with the HIV/AIDS virus. We also have quilt kits to take home that go to
cancer patients at Fairview Hospital. Any skill and interest level welcome. Please
come and join us for as many sessions as you can! Donations of fabric, batting and
embroidery floss are appreciated!
