Live it Out!

  “My beloved, be steadfast, immovable,
always excelling in the work of the Lord,
                    because you know that
in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”
                I Corinthians 15:58  NRSV

We are His beloved. What an amazing concept! And that is just the beginning.
He calls us to be His co-laborers!

God places us in our homes, neighborhoods, communities, cities and to the ends of the earth.

God also places us in a culture where our lives can influence areas of education, health care, workplace, environment and agriculture, media and the arts, family, religious institutions, transportation and government.

God calls us to live out our faith in the places and areas of culture we encounter daily.  He wants us to proclaim Him, thus redeeming and restoring the people and places where he is already at work.  He wants us to be a living testimony so that others will also know Him, the Redeemer and Restorer.

So be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of Him who has sent us to such a time and place as this.  Together our labor will not be in vain.

Over the coming months we will be encouraging one another to “Live It Out” as we strive to follow God’s call on our lives.  October will focus on God’s Heart for the City and His call to Local/Urban Ministry.  Click on each month below to find out more about the CityVenture opportunity for that month.  (Dates will be added as they are confirmed so check back frequently)
