Pastor Mark from EPC World Outreach is coming to BPC the weekend of May 12-13. God has given Mark and his wife, Mary Jane a strong love for Muslims in the U.S. and around the world. Their particular emphasis is building bridges of friendship, trust, and understanding between Christians and Muslims. Mark and Mary Jane work with churches encouraging Christians to engage in sincere conversation and genuine friendship with Muslim people – letting go of fear, anger, and harmful stereotypes. In this seminar they will address questions like:
What is Islam?
What do Muslim's believe?
Is Islam a peaceful or violent religion?
How can we reach out in love to Muslim people?
Join us Friday May 12 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm in Auburn Hall to gain solid answers to these questions. Lunch will be provided for a cost of $7.00.
Following the Saturday seminar, you are invited to join us to visit The Islamic Center of Cleveland. Afterwards, we will share a traditional Middle Eastern meal at Kabob Station Restaurant. The owner, Fatima, was a teacher of Islamic history in Iraq.
