TEACHABLE MOMENTS

I had a great teaching moment with my daughter. Someone in her class at school had been nasty to her. We talked about it and discussed the choices she had. We determined that praying for this child was the best option. We talked about compassion. The virtue of Compassion was the focus for December in our Family Times Virtue Pack.

Not long after this, I received some encouraging feedback from her classroom teacher about the ways this teaching is making a difference. Just last week at recess time, my daughter gave her boots to a boy in her class who did not have any and she wore her sneakers out in the snow!

We praise God for his work in the homes of BPC families and in the lives of the children!
