“It’s All About Jesus”
Worship spans all aspects of our lives. One of the most common forms of worship today is the music we offer during our services. The Worship Ministry provides our church family with an environment where we bring glory to Jesus Christ. Our goal is to lead the congregation on worship journeys that connect spiritually, emotionally, relationally and culturally...encouraging and influencing lives of worship.
We have many places for you to serve in our worship community:
-
Promise is our large choir that anyone can join (as long as you can sing on pitch!). We sing a wide variety of music for our 9:30 am service. We also sing for special events like Easter and Christmas as well as outside ministry concerts at prisons, nursing homes, hospitals and many other places in our community. Promise rehearses each Thursday night in the Great Hall at 7:30pm. To participate in Promise, contact Elaine Dwyer at or just come to one of our rehearsals. We’ll introduce you to the members in your section who will make you feel welcome and comfortable and provide you with all the information you’ll need about the music, performances and worship times.
-
Coro del lago is an auditioned chamber choir that sings regularly during our weekend services as well as providing a classical music concert two or three times a year. If you would like to schedule an audition for this group, please contact our interim director Jamie Emerson at .
