On Sunday, February 24, 2008, Ken Simmons of the Denominational Negotiating Team of BPC Session reported on the status of their discussions with the Presbytery of the Western Reserve Negotiating Team regarding releasing BPC from PC(USA).  In addition, Pastor Hu Auburn shared his thoughts and observations.  This information was then communicated to the congregation in a letter.
