The Bible…what’s it all about?
The Bible is the greatest book ever written.
Did you know the Bible was written over a period of 1500 years? It was written by over 40 different people, in three different languages, and contains 66 books and yet—the Bible is ONE story?!
The Bible tells us God’s Story—it reveals to us who God is, His purposes in the world, and His purpose for us. The Bible is HIS-Story and it is where our story connects with HIS-Story!

HIS-Story - A Biblical Worldview
HIS-Story is a visual experience and workshop. Participants “walk through” the Biblical Story and see the one continuous story of scripture, discover the major themes and framework of the Bible, as well as begin to work through the “so what” of scripture as it connects our story to HIS-Story in all areas of life.
Together, we will work through the themes with visual cues, posters and a workbook. Small Groups will gather around tables to engage in conversation designed to reinforce the themes and ideas presented.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
The Biblical Story provides answers to life’s basic questions –
Who are We?
What’s our Purpose?
What has gone wrong with humanity and the world?
What’s the solution?
God’s answer to these life questions is at the heart of HIS-Story revealed in the Bible.
Our world offers many answers to these basic life questions but according to Scripture we must be transformed by the renewing of our mind – not simply rely upon what we see around us or by listening to the world’s solutions for life. But rather, looking to the Biblical story leads to the renewal of our mind that is necessary for the transformation God desires for each of us. God’s mission from the beginning of time has been a redemptive pursuit of His people so that we might become the people He created us to be, living in obedience to His ways of life, partnering with Him in His purposes.
Taking the truths of the Biblical Story, we seek the renewing of our minds through encountering God’s truth – HIS-Story – so that HIS-Story becomes the lens through which we see God, ourselves, our lives, our world, and our mission.
