Ministry to babies and preschoolers on Sunday mornings takes place at all 3 hours on the first floor of the East Wing.  We call this space and this ministry:  Downtown in Power Zone!

 

Our nurseries are staffed by paid supervisors and parent helpers.  We are eager to begin to offer your children those first positive experiences at church!  Infants are loved and cared for, our toddlers take part in a short Bible lesson, learn songs to reinforce the teaching and get plenty of time to play.  Parents are all given a pager to give you the assurance that, should your child need you, we can get you!  Parents using the nurseries can find the current parent helper schedule here and the supervisor schedule here.

 

Preschool teachers and helpers are eager to teach our preschoolers the foundational Truths from God’s Word. Children are encouraged in age-graded classes beginning at age 2½.  Young children are encouraged to bring their preschool Bibles each week in Bible bags, to join in play, sound, rhyme, and stories from God’s Word and to memorize Scripture!  Preschool Room Assignments for 2007-08 can be found here.
